🏆 Siegel/McDaniel Award Winner

I'm excited to be able to share that I have recently been awarded the Siegel/McDaniel Award from the Philip Roth Society for my essay that will soon be published in Philip Roth Studies, called "The Fragmented Mark: Zuckerman's Characters as Self-Making in The Human Stain." The award, according to the Roth Society, "recognizes high-quality graduate student papers written within the past year on any of Roth's works." This paper deals with some underdiscussed elements of self-making in The Human Stain and synthesizes a few important readings of the novel.
